Malaya-Kelantan stamps were issued beginning in 1911, but I did not collect the early issues, only the ones between 1937 and the 1950's. The initial design was replaced in 1937 with the image of Sultan Ismail. The set was only used for a few years before the Japanese invasion in 1941, so there are no listed color shades. After the war ended, B.M.A. overprints were used until a new issue was released in 1951. This issue has an updated image of the Sultan. You will find several color shades in this set.

The pages scanned are from my collection, and are identified by the Gibbons and Scott numbers. Commonwealth numbers are included for the later issues that were listed in the Catalog. The page images were scanned in a larger size and at a higher resolution so you can more easily see the details used in viewing them.
