The Newfoundland King George VI era set of stamps were printed from 1938 until about 1947. The design that was used came from the 1932 set which included various perforation changes, and booklet panes. So you may want to consider collecting the preceding issues also.

In addition there was an adaptation of the images from this set that was used on the long Coronation set. You will find three different perforations on this set, so it is an interesting one to pursue.

The pages are from my collection, and are identified by the Commonwealth, Gibbons, and Scott numbers in that order. The catalogs differ widely in how the earlier issues are presented, so only the Stanley Gibbons numbers will be inclusive. The Commonwealth and Scott numbers just show the range of stamps that are included in the listing.
